Whitewater Leads wants to celebrate!! We have had the privilege of giving away over 24,000 free books to children in the Whitewater area during our partnership with Dolly Parton Imagination Library!! Parents/Guardians of children from birth to their fifth birthday who live in the Whitewater area can sign their child/children up to receive FREE books monthly delivered to their door.

Whitewater Leads is excited to announce we are expanding our ability to improve literacy for children within the Whitewater area. 

Through the increase of donations, Whitewater Leads was able to expand and give four elementary literacy grants during the 2022-2023 school year. This school year (2023 - 2024), Whitewater Leads plans to give away up to six literacy grants to Whitewater Unified School District staff. These grants will give WUSD students additional literacy opportunities.

To apply for a Whitewater Leads Literacy Grant worth up to $500, WUSD staff can submit their grant proposal to whitewaterleads@gmail.com.
